The Hidden Gems
The Perfect Method (2024)
An instructional book using seven case studies of seven individual and separate stock runs to help illuminate the rules of stock speculation. Each case study is explored using a fictional story to make a boring topic interesting in a unique way.
A few words from the book:
It is recommended that you undertake the journey on your own and find your own path, instead of listening to others. Just know that the path is not easy. It is hard. It takes time, patience, persistence, and an ability to learn from one’s mistakes. And most of all, it requires humility. The stock you are speculating with is always right, it is always smarter, and it knows more about itself than anyone else on the planet. In fact, it even knows about your mental weakness, better than you do. And it will exploit that weakness. That is how smart it is.
The Perfect Fool (2021)
After a long hiatus, the author wrote this graphic novel type fictional book reviewing the winners of the 2020-2021 pandemic stock market. Most people who were active in the market during this time will recall the price runs of GameStop (GME), Moderna (MRNA), Riot Blockchain (RIOT), Cassava Sciences (SAVA), Plug Power (PLUG). All these stocks are discussed in this graphic novel.
A few words from the book:
The idea of using the actual movements of some of the best moving stocks of 2020-21 was a great one. The illustrations of how to have traded them will inject the methodology into your psyche in a way that no other book can. Now all one has to do is implement the lessons and play the game the right way. The wins will follow. A fair fee cannot be put on learning to execute the tactics. You wouldn’t be able to either. Making proper decisions. So simple, yet so hard.
The Perfect Speculator (2005)
Ideal for stock market students who are juniors and seniors because they have faced losses and are still alive. If the losses killed you, then this is definitely for you! Freshmen and sophomores won’t heed it because they think they know everything. Graduates and postgraduates also have plenty to learn from this book.
A few words from the book:
The average retail speculator has no chance of out researching the vast machinery on the Street. The Street has some of best, the brightest, the most educated, the most trained, the most intelligent and the most experienced folks working. Therefore, the best way to be on the “inside” with the most knowledgeable folks is to follow their action. They act based on all the exhaustive research that they conduct. And such action shows up clearly to the diligent and patient market operator through the price and volume action on the leading indices in conjunction with the price and volume action on leading stocks. Once one learns to decipher the price and volume action, one has started on the path of successful speculation.
The Perfect Stock (2004)
A fictional story based on Taser International’s incredible price run-up of 7000% in 2003-2004. Even though written as a fictional account, it is loosely based on true events. While the ‘fictionalized account” may seem unusual for a stock trading book, those who have been around the markets will recognize the obvious lessons.
A few words from the book:
No one knew then, but from the April 18, 2003, price of $5.45/share to its high exactly 52 weeks later of $385/share, Taser would have made an incredible 7065% move. A small $5,000 account invested in Taser would be worth over $380,000 within just one year. For the insiders at Taser this would be absolutely the perfect stock. But for the outsiders it would be a far different story. Unless an outsider knew how to trade stocks like an insider.
